Rachel pursued a graduate degree from the University of Southern California for journalism in 2020. She had to postpone because of her performance opportunities but continues to write and blog.

She is interested in both writing and architectural design. She believes that learning more about one only informs the other - all of which provide a unique scope into her dance practice and choreography creation.
